decent metal base, but can be improved

I gave the retractable banner 3 stars because the material of the banner has great quality and print looks amazing, but as far as the base or container where the banner retracts into is decent, but can be improved. The hole on the base where the pole goes into to hold up the banner upright needs enforcement such as thicker metal material as overtime use I believe the metal will snap.
FYI: The base will retract and will not stay on ground if you do not hold the base down while retracting the banner up. The metal base has sharp edges and can easily cut your finger if not careful.
