Can I match the colours in my business card design to the edge colour?

Sure! When you select an edge colour, you’ll see a HEX code by the name. This is a universal identifier that you can use to match other elements of your design to the edge colour. Just copy the code and add it to the colour panel in our studio or any other design software. Please note: Our gold-edge business cards feature a metallic finish. You can match the gold colour on the front or back design, but the shiny effect is only available for the edge.

What’s the difference between painted edge business cards and other cards?

Our painted edge cards have colour on the sides, top and bottom – all the “thin” dimensions that normally don’t have customizable colours.

Which colours can I choose from?

Right now, you can pick from red, gold, black, blue, yellow and teal. The HEX codes for these colours are the following: Blue - #0083CA Teal - #0099B1 Black - #231F20 Gold - #C48A10 Red - #ED1B2F Yellow - #FFF200

How thick are coloured edge business cards?

These cards are 32pt (equal to .032 of an inch). To give you a frame of reference, each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch.

Can I have rounded corners or square-shaped painted edge business cards?

Sorry, but those options aren’t available with these cards. The special way they’re made doesn’t allow for those custom shapes.

Can I write on painted edge business cards?

Yes, the matte laminate makes them fairly easy to write on with any pencil, pen or marker.

White space left unused around edges

I had to make my font smaller in order to fit the text and picture, which was no problem, but when i received the cards it turn out that there was plenty of space unused around the edges. That made me angry

Love the actual card. But the logo wasn't centered and its hard to know if its centered when you're making the card. I would have thought someone would review the card before printing it. . . especially at the price you're paying.

Print quality

I am very disappointed with the quality of these cards. On the front, the logo is noticeably off-center and crooked, which looks quite unprofessional. Furthermore, the color is inaccurate; I ordered a 'dusty pink,' but it arrived as a dull, grayish mauve. The back of the card is also poor quality and the printing is grainy with visible 'dots' (halftoning) rather than a crisp finish, and the colors don't match the original design. I expected much higher production standards.
