Blurry

Made sure to make the pictures as large as possible, and the quality was still blurry.

After looking closely at the image that was uploaded with the order, it appears the file itself is low-resolution and already slightly blurry. When an image like that is enlarged for printing, it becomes even less clear, even if sharpened in the design studio. If you have a higher-resolution version of your logo or photo, please send it to us through this email. Once we receive it, we’ll work with you on a complimentary replacement so the final result is crisp and clear. We appreciate the chance to make this right for you.

Not as bright as hoped

The business cards came out much darker than expected from website mock up. . so I was a little disappointed. The quality of the are stock though is excellent with the gold edge.

One thing to note is that designs created or viewed on screen are typically in RGB color mode, which can look brighter and more vibrant on digital displays. Our printing process uses CMYK, and during conversion, some colors may appear less vivid or muted once printed. This is available in the editing studio, and when viewed at 100%, it will show you what the document will look like when printed. My only complaint is that when designing you card with colored edges, it give you no description of how the card itself will feal and look. You only know that the sides are colored. I would have like that info or even some options. But. . . . . . . . . I am pleasantly surprised and happy. I would order them again. I might try out so other option but I would have no problems or issues ordered the exact same again.

Frequently asked questions

Sure! When you select an edge colour, you’ll see a HEX code by the name. This is a universal identifier that you can use to match other elements of your design to the edge colour. Just copy the code and add it to the colour panel in our studio or any other design software.

Please note: Our gold-edge business cards feature a metallic finish. You can match the gold colour on the front or back design, but the shiny effect is only available for the edge.

Our painted edge cards have colour on the sides, top and bottom – all the “thin” dimensions that normally don’t have customizable colours.

Right now, you can pick from red, gold, black, blue, yellow and teal.

The HEX codes for these colours are the following: Blue - #0083CA
Teal - #0099B1 Black - #231F20 Gold - #C48A10 Red - #ED1B2F Yellow - #FFF200

These cards are 32pt (equal to .032 of an inch). To give you a frame of reference, each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch.

Sorry, but those options aren’t available with these cards. The special way they’re made doesn’t allow for those custom shapes.

Yes, the matte laminate makes them fairly easy to write on with any pencil, pen or marker.
