Terrible

Poster printing at Vistaprint is completely hit or miss. This is the second time I’ve received posters that were dim, with pixelated art that looks terrible and doesn’t resemble my uploaded PNG master file at all. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Won’t use Vistaprint for poster prints again.

Response from Vistaprint Customer Care Team:

Thank you for leaving your review and sharing your detailed feedback with us. We acknowledge your response and are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the print quality of your Posters. Upon checking your order details, we can confirm that the uploaded file was of a lower resolution, where the fine details and small text were already distorted and pixelated in the design studio preview. Because our printing process is fully automated, our machines print directly from the exact file submitted during checkout without manual adjustments. To help set expectations for artwork files: - Resolution: Digital graphics designed for screens often look fine at lower resolutions, but print requires high-resolution files (at least 300 DPI) to render sharp and clear without pixelation. - Color Mode (RGB vs. CMYK): Digital screens display artwork using RGB (Red, Green, Blue) light, which produces bright, vibrant colors. Printing presses use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) inks. When an RGB file is automatically converted to CMYK for printing, colors can sometimes appear dimmer or less saturated than they looked on a lit screen. Because of automated printing, the physical poster produced reflects the exact resolution and file settings uploaded and approved in the design studio. We want to help make this right. Could you please reply directly to this email and share a higher-resolution version of your poster artwork (at least 300 DPI and saved in CMYK mode if possible)? Once received, our team will review the file to ensure it is print-ready. We appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you.
