Create a classic card that’s understated but impressive.

  • Smooth 14pt card stock (both sides)
  • Easy to write on with pencil or ink
  • Colors can appear muted or faded
  • Great for appointment cards & reminders

Uncoated business cards have a clean, natural look with a light texture and matte finish. Simple designs look particularly great on this stock, and it’s a go-to option if you like adding handwritten notes for your customers, clients or prospects. (It’s great for appointment cards, too.) If you’d like a mix of traditional and trendy, you can customize your uncoated business cards with rounded corners or a square shape.

Poor quality

The card looks poorly cut choppy on the sides and the print isn’t the greatest quality. I’m disappointed because my friend showed me hers from Vista print and she got a way better quality.

My last set of cards I did before these were not great so I didn't know how to feel about ordering my new ones but they were absolutely perfect.

Frequently asked questions

Uncoated business card paper is 14pt, equal to .014 of an inch. Each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch, to give you a frame of reference.

For complete information about card dimensions, check out our business card size guide.

Unfortunately, those options aren’t available for these particular cards.

Yes and yes. Both sides are the same uncoated surface, which is very easy to write on.

Yes. You can choose from our one- or two-sided printing options.

The paper has a very natural feel, and it’s very absorbent. So, when you have a busy, ink-heavy design, it may look a bit faded as the colours are absorbed during printing. We’d recommend simpler designs without a lot of bright colours and intricate, small details. For more general questions, you can also check out our article, Business Card Design Ideas.
