Flexible notebooks with sturdy bindings

When you need something that’s just as practical for everyday notes as it is for presentations, wire-bound booklets are an excellent choice. The wire-O binding allows the pages to lay flat and turn 360 degrees, making it simple to jot notes, write (or follow) instructions, or flip through visuals without bending or creasing. Whether you’re creating a training manual for work, a personal journal or an everyday planner, you’ll have a booklet that’s comfortable to use and built to last.

For personal or professional use

Wire-O booklets work just as well for business presentations as they do for creative projects. A glossy finish makes product catalogs and lookbooks shine, while matte paper is great for workbooks or recipe collections that see a lot of use. The smooth turning pages and sturdy covers help them hold up to repeated use, and with up to 398 pages, they’re designed to last as long as you need.

Design it your way

Creating your wire-bound booklets is nice and simple. Begin by selecting your booklet size and page count. Next, upload your design as a PDF to our design studio (you can download a template under ‘Specs & Templates’ to ensure details like margins and page order are set up correctly). From there, choose your paper and cover stock, and place your order. We’ll take care of the printing and binding so your booklets arrive looking polished and ready to use.

Frequently asked questions

Both wire-bound and spiral-bound booklets use looped binding to hold pages together, but wire-bound booklets use double-looped metal wire for a sturdier, more professional look. Spiral binding typically uses a single plastic coil, which gives it a more casual appearance and is generally less durable.

Wire-bound booklets open flat and can even fold back on themselves, which makes them easy to use in a wide range of situations. You can take notes without pages flipping closed, follow step-by-step instructions without losing your place, or keep them open on a desk while presenting. The double-wire binding also adds durability and a polished finish, making these booklets equally useful for everyday tasks and professional settings.

The bindings used in our wire-O booklets are high-quality steel with a thin coating of colored black nylon to protect the paper.

Your wire-bound booklets can include 6-398 pages – this includes 4 cover pages (front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover). For example, a 36-page booklet = 4 cover pages + 32 inside pages. You can select your page count in increments of 2: 40 pages, 42 pages, 44 pages and so on.

No, you’re not required to - you’ll just need to include blank pages in your print-ready PDF. But if you’d like to utilize all the space and add content to all 4 cover pages, you’re welcome to do that, too.

The wire-O binding holes are about 0.125” x 0.125” and extend roughly 0.25” from the edge into the page. To keep your design safe, we recommend leaving a 0.5” margin along the binding edge so that text and important images don’t get cut off.

Our wire-bound booklets are available in matte or glossy, with budget, standard or premium cover paper thicknesses available.

Note that you can combine standard or premium glossy cover paper with matte inside paper. Otherwise, the cover paper stock and inside paper stock will be the same. All inside paper has budget (80lb.) thickness.
