Our personalized blankets are available in two premium materials: fleece and sherpa. Crafted from 100% polyester, each offers its own unique touch. Our fleece blankets feature a slight sheen on the front, while the sherpa blankets have a matte finish with an extra-fluffy back – perfect for added coziness. At VistaPrint, we’ve been experts in custom printing for two decades, so no matter what style you choose, your blanket will look as beautiful years from now as it does the day it arrives.

Easy to design

To get started, choose the photo blanket size you want and orientation. Then click “Upload design” to upload your photo or collage and have it take up the entire blanket. Or you can “Browse designs” to pick from a variety of templates that incorporate text, patterns and different options for multi-photo layouts. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or allow it to air dry to help prevent shrinking and maintain its softness. The quality is awful. It’s thin and doesn’t feel nice at all. I’m actually ordering another blanket from somewhere else as I am not going to give this one as a gift. I’ve ordered many photo blankets before (from other places) and this is by far the worst one I’ve ever received.

Yes. We have a variety of design templates, including collage options that you can use if you can’t decide upon just one photo for your custom photo blanket. This is also a great option if you’re working with lower-resolution images that wouldn’t print sharply across a larger size.

To keep your fleece or sherpa blanket soft, vibrant and looking its best, we recommend the following care instructions:

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle or delicate cycle
  • Use mild detergent and avoid bleach
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry to prevent shrinking and maintain softness

To get the best photo blanket results, we recommend a minimum of 150 DPI.

Just be sure to extend your photos to all of the outer edges during the design process.

Yes. As you’re designing in our online studio, you’ll see a PDF proof option. This lets you see how your personalized photo blanket will look when printed – and it’s a great way to spot any errors before completing your order.

The main difference is that our custom sherpa blankets have a softer, fluffier and more textured back with a matte finish on the front. They’re a bit heavier, too. Our custom fleece blankets are still warm and soft but have a slight sheen on the front side.
