Build your booth with custom backdrops and displays that command attention.

Whether you’re running a photo backdrop at a red carpet event, staffing a booth at a trade show or creating a media wall for a brand activation, portable backdrops come in multiple formats to fit your space and budget. Choose from step & repeat banners (8' x 5', 8' x 8' or 8' x 10') – ideal for photo opportunities where repeating logos create professional branded content. Tension fabric displays (2', 3', 8' or 10' widths) offer wrinkle-free, form-fitted aesthetics for portable setups that travel between venues. Pop-up displays (7.5' x 7.5' or 7.5' x 10') deploy in seconds with zero assembly required. SEG fabric displays (3' to 5' wide) deliver edge-to-edge customization for premium booth experiences. Start with a digital mockup of your design to preview your booth backdrop before ordering.

Your booth backdrop is a long-term investment. Machine-washable, fire-retardant materials withstand back-to-back events and interchangeable graphics let you refresh your message or maintain consistent branding season after season. Lightweight frames and carrying cases make moving between venues quick and easy. Pair your backdrop with matching signage, table covers and displays to create a cohesive media wall that commands attention.

Frequently asked questions

Standard trade show booths are 10' x 10' or 10' x 20'. For a 10' x 10' booth, a 7.5' x 7.5' pop-up display or 8' x 8' step & repeat banner works well as your backwall. If you have a 10' x 20' booth, go with the 7.5' x 10' pop-up or 8' x 10' step & repeat for better coverage. Tension fabric displays (2', 3', 8' or 10' widths) and SEG displays (3' to 5' wide) offer more flexibility since you control frame positioning. Always check your venue’s ceiling height (most indoor venues allow 8'-10' displays) and confirm size restrictions when booking your booth space.

Yes. Step & repeat banners, tension fabric displays and pop-up displays meet NFPA 701 flame-propagation standards with Class A fire ratings – the requirement for most convention centers and indoor event venues. SEG fabric stands use B1-rated, flame-retardant fabric also compliant with NFPA 701. When you reserve your booth, provide your display dimensions and material type to the venue for final sign-off. Indoor venues enforce these standards strictly, so verify early in your planning.

Your choice depends on the fabric, aesthetic and how you’ll use it:

  • Step & repeat banners: Fade- and water-resistant vinyl or polyester. Best for photo opportunities and branded events.
  • Tension fabric displays: Wrinkle-free stretch polyester with glare-free finish. Ideal for upscale venues and travel between locations.
  • Pop-up displays: Durable vinyl or fabric with accordion-style setup. Perfect for back-to-back events and quick setups.
  • SEG fabric stands: Flame-retardant silicone-edge fabric with seamless edges. Premium choice for high-end brand activations and media walls.

Care instructions vary by product:

  • Step & repeat banners: Machine wash in cold water and line dry only.
  • Tension fabric displays: Machine wash on gentle cycle with mild detergent, then tumble dry. Don’t dry clean or iron.
  • Pop-up displays: Machine wash on cold cycle and air-dry to keep the print sharp. Wipe down the frame with a dry cloth. Store in the wheeled carrying case when not in use.
  • SEG fabric stands: Machine wash on delicate cycle with cold water. Tumble dry on low or air dry. Optionally use a steamer (not an iron) to work out creases.

For all fabrics, store in a cool, dry space to extend the life of your display.

To ensure your design prints sharp, follow these tips:

  • Submit as a vector PDF (Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW preferred) at 150 DPI or higher
  • Use CMYK colour profile, not RGB, for accurate print colour
  • Include 0.25" bleed on all sides so graphics extend edge-to-edge without white gaps
  • Keep text no smaller than 2" tall – smaller sizes blur at large display sizes
  • If uploading a JPG instead, ensure it’s 150 DPI minimum
  • Preview your design with our digital mockup tool before ordering to see exactly how it prints on your backdrop size
