The foil detail was a bad call on my part. I’m not happy with the way it looks. The detail on the lamp bases and shades in my original Canva design are lost to the foil embellishment. I’m very happy with everything else, however. I feel I should order again. I wish there had been a true mock up of what the finished card would look like. I would never have ordered the foil detail.

Nice, but not as expected

I paid $90 for 500 cards, premium stock with gold foil accents. They look nice, but are somewhat disapppointing. I would return them if I wasn't pressed for time. I used a gold logo, but only the text and some gold stars were accented with foil. Not the logo. The gold logo also did not print nearly as crisp and clear as on the online example. Details are missing. Be aware: even when you pay extra for gold foil, it will not be applied to any elements on the back of the card. The cards are lovely because my design was well thought out, but their printing description and quality is NOT what is shown online.

I thought their service was quick. However, the business cards (I selected two styles) were okay. If I order again, I would select their best quality card, not premium. Also, I would order the raised foil stamping. Not just foil stamping. I had received help with my order. However, I found my graphic too large and on the first card and my headshot not as centered, on the second card.

Furthermore, we regret that the graphic was larger than expected on one card, and the headshot was misaligned on the other cards. Regarding the paper stock, our thickest cardstock available for the foil accent and our other specialty finishes is the premium stock, which weighs 16pt. If you wish to have a cardstock thicker than the premium, we recommend our deluxe cards: www.vistaprint.ca/business-cards/deluxe-business-cards. Also, we offer three special finishes: Foil Accent, Embossed Gloss, and Raised Foil. We have reviewed the cards with the headshot and found that the headshot was centered; however, the text under the photo was misaligned. For both designs, we recommend in the future that you request a "PDF proof" of your design before completing the order: www.vistaprint.ca/customer-care/help-center/360052259371/. This is available in the editing studio, and when viewed at 100%, it will show you what the document will look like when printed. Viewing the proof will allow you to make changes, such as reducing the size of your graphic if it is too large or aligning the design correctly.
