We acknowledge your feedback, and while we are glad to hear that the engraving turned out perfect, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the lid leaking. Please note that the VistaPrint 20 oz. Travel Mug features a plastic thumb-slide lid. While this style of lid is great for preventing major splashes while you walk or sit in a car, slider lids generally do not form an airtight or completely leak-proof seal. If the mug is tipped upside down, tossed sideways into a bag, or knocked over, liquid will likely seep out from around the sliding mechanism. That said, we acknowledge your feedback for internal improvement as we continue to evaluate and refine our product offerings.
