You can mail magnetic save the dates just like you would any other mail. The magnets are 0.72 oz per unit, which is light enough for standard postage — no additional cost is required for the magnet’s weight or size.

Note: Although save the date magnets stick securely to metal surfaces, their lightweight design is not meant for holding papers and other materials.

Generally, it’s recommended to send your save the date magnets 6 to 8 months in advance. For a destination wedding, try to send your save the date magnets at least 9 months ahead (or more).
