The Flyers and Tote Bags look great… unfortunately the more important posters did not work out. I printed them twice, tried to convey my concerns after the first print order… second order was printed worse.

Excellent print but annoying AI edit

I have ordered LOTS of posters from VP and have always been exceptionally happy with print quality, especially the colours. They make it very affordable for volume orders.
Now, I have a customer that NEVER wants 11x17, always orders 11x14 so I have to trim. No big deal…I have taken great care in ensuring the poster lines up properly so it only requires a single cut along bottom (empty white space along bottom edge making cutting quick & easy).
WELL, not this time. I believe the “system” (AI) took it upon itself to move my 11x14 print to middle of page and added “extra” background on both the bottom & top. This tripled my time when cutting. Disappointed, most definitely. Would have preferred being “asked” about the change instead of having it pushed through without my consent. Have learned my lesson on this. Will definitely make changes to my original files in the future to avoid this same problem. Overall, great print quality but take extra care when setting up your print files.
