Meets Expectations on Size, Not on Print Precision

The size of the soup mug is excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys large cups. The print quality is adequate for the vast majority of people. However, as someone working in photography, graphic design, and printing, I find that the level of definition is lower than expected. The main issue is the accuracy of the print placement. I relied on the proof provided on the website to ensure that the design would reach the edges. Unfortunately, the final product shows a significant shift from the top of the mug, and the images were noticeably distorted. Since the design included faces, the deformation is particularly noticeable. My wife is happy with the gift, but from a production‑quality standpoint, I am not satisfied with the result. Regarding shipping, the delivery took longer than I would have preferred, but considering it was before and during the Christmas holidays, the delay is understandable. At this point, I am unlikely to order another soup mug unless I have a very specific reason to do so, or if the design involves a full solid color where alignment and distortion are less critical.

Absolutely terrible, the picture that was printed was not as shown in the design they showed me before paying, the actual picture came smaller and elongated, what a waste of money

Soup mug design experience and product was not good.

Unfortunately, this order didn't meet my expections. Despite of I used a custom image with a decent DPI and resolution settings, the image got printed with a distorted aspect ratio so it looks squashed. Also, the product page for the soup mug doesn't show anywhere the dimensions of the mug unlike the regular mug page. So it's impossible to have an idea of the size of the mug if you haven't seen it before. One more thing, the preview feature of the soup mug only has three views: Left, Center and Right. You cannot tell this way how well or bad your images will be printed. It isn't like the preview for the regular mugs where you can smoothly move the product around interactively so you can really notice your change, and how your mug will really look like. For the price of this product, I was expecting a better experience and product. I've order lots of printed items at Vistaprint in the past with no issues, this time around though, I'm unhappy with my order.

Absolutely. Just click on the “Upload your image” button at the top of the page to add your design. For the best printing results, we recommend using a design or image that’s at least 300 dpi.
