To share a bit of context regarding the initial odor, that smell is a standard byproduct of our printing technology and treatment process, and it typically fades completely after a normal wash. While washing the garment in cold water is exactly what we recommend to care for the print, the design should absolutely not have come off in the process. In terms of the print, this shirt uses a direct-to-garment printing method, and the design provided was a darker image printed on a black shirt, which can result in a more muted or less glossy finish rather than a shiny look.
