Embroidery pulled material. Should have embroidered with a backing material

The shirt has a sheen to it. It would have popular like 30 years ago!

Not quite what I thought

Very light, to the point where I feel it will get damaged quickly. It's nice but not really what I hoped it would be. Given my druthers I'd return it.
