Poor Quality of Business Cards

The cards arrived after a very long delay, and I understand that the delivery issue was not the company’s fault. However, the moment I received and opened the package, all the cards were placed together in one large box, completely mixed up. It took me a significant amount of time to separate the five different card designs that I had ordered. Furthermore, all of the cards were damaged, scratched, and had visible lines and defects. The cuts were not clean, and the corners of every card were damaged. I have been purchasing from VistaPrint for years, but this time I was truly disappointed with the quality I received.

Decent Cards

Nice cards but the finish coating on them, if stored say in your wallet, starts to rub off the glossy finish leaving blotchy areas with a distinguishable matte look. If they're going to be sitting on your desk in a card holder I'd say they'd be fine.

Not as good as they were

Ordered these in the past and the quality was fantastic. However the cord stock they use now is nowhere near as good as they were before. will be looking to purchase somewhere else next time i need cards.

Completely different product than previous orders

These used to be good quality and were actual 30pt PVC plastic. . . But they have changed the product completely without any notice. These are not "plastic cards" anymore, they are laminated synthetic cards. Card from previous order weighs 5 grams, these weigh 3 grams. These look cheap and are no longer printed on 30pt PVC, now they're printed on a thin synthetic paper and laminated to add thickness. The lamination on the edges bubbles out on the back side from stack cutting (as they're cut from a large synthetic sheet). Lamination picks up fingerprints (a lot). Cards do not lay flat, they are warped (caused by heat when using thick lamination on thin material). Cutting accuracy is also very bad compared to in the past (stack cutting), off almost half a centimeter. See photo for a visual demonstration.

Our white plastic business cards don’t come with “mag strip” technology – the black stripe on the back that readers can access.

While we’re not limited to just plastic business card printing, we cannot legally print any design that looks like an ID card, credit card or bank card. Other types of custom plastic cards (like loyalty or membership cards) are fine.

Yes, you can! We offer both clear business cards and frosted business cards.

Absolutely. We have photography templates, landscaping templates and many more options for all kinds of industries. We even have designs specifically made to help you create black plastic business cards.

The plastic card printing process prevents us from adding special textures or finishes to the cards. However, you can use almost any type of design – bright colors look particularly good with the high-gloss shine.

While bright colours work best for plastic business cards, you’re not limited in what you can design. You could even use all white (no printing) or black on your plastic business cards.
