We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we are sorry to hear that your business cards arrived with unexpected white borders. This happened because the design was not extended to the full bleed area of the canvas. We do provide print tips in our design studio, and this warning was provided during the design process to help prevent unprinted edges. We actually attempted to extend the design for you on our end, but we found that your text would have gone outside the safety area, which means the design itself simply needs more bleed space. To fix this, we recommend recreating a high-resolution file with a 3.5" x 2" trim and a 3.62" x 2.12" bleed size. We are absolutely here to help you with a replacement thereafter once the file is ready, or you may also utilize our professional design services via: https://www.vistaprint.ca/design, to have our team adjust it for you. Great product and service! The business cards are exactly like i saw on the website. The price for 100 cards was very reasonable, no complaints there. However i found the shipping cost quite expensive. The order was around $25. 00, and the shipping for that small box was around or even more than $25. 00.

Standard matte business cards are 14pt (equal to .014 of an inch), premium cards are
16pt (equal to .016 of an inch) and premium plus cards are 18pt (equal to .018 of an inch). Each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch, to give you a frame of reference.

 Our matte business cards have a non-reflective surface on both sides.

You can write on our matte cards, but different markers or pens may give you different results. If you’re looking for a material you can easily write on, try our uncoated business cards.

You can choose from our square shape and rounded corner upgrades. We also offer special finish upgrades, like embossed gloss or foil accent. Just look for those choices as you go through the design process, and keep in mind that special finishes aren’t available with square business cards.

Absolutely. You can choose from glossy finish business cards and a variety of others. Matte business cards have a smoother, non-reflective surface, sometimes described as silky or polished. They’re great for deep colours, especially for black business cards, and have a refined feel. Glossy business cards have a shiny, light-catching finish that helps bright colours and photographs pop.

If you’re uploading your own design, make sure that your image resolution is at least 300 dots per inch and uses one of the following formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .bmp, .png, .gif, .heic, .pdf, .psd, .ai, .eps, .ait, .ppt, .pptx, .tif and .tiff.
