We use coated, white paperboard that is 19pt thick. It’s a premium grade paperboard in a brilliant white colour and offers an optimal base for printing vibrant designs. The coating on the outside protects the box and keeps it looking new longer and a little more resistant to damage from water or tearing.
Yes. Our reverse tuck boxes are widely recyclable, even with custom finishes and inks. However, recyclability may vary by municipality – we recommend checking with your local recycling program to confirm what types of paper and cardboard are accepted.

If you’re uploading your own design, we recommend using a high-resolution (300 DPI) PNG file in CMYK colour. Note that it’s not uncommon for certain colours to shift from their original tone when printed.
Pro tip: For a more vibrant print, we recommend designs with darker tones or colours.

Reverse tuck boxes differ in their design and intended use. Unlike mailer boxes, which are made for shipping, reverse tuck boxes are primarily for product packaging and display. In other words, we don’t recommend using them as shipping boxes.
Compared to our top tuck boxes, reverse tuck boxes have a slightly different construction. These specific top tuck boxes feature a top flap and self-locking bottom, creating a treasure-chest-like construction for a unique unboxing experience. Reverse tuck boxes, on the other hand, have a flap at the top and bottom and are quicker to assemble.

To find the best box size, follow these simple steps:

Measure your product’s length, width and height at the widest point in each direction.

Add about 0.25" to each measurement to allow for clearance. This way, your product will fit neatly into the box without jamming. If you’d like a slightly snugger fit, you can add less clearance (about 0.125") or if you plan to add tissue or cushioning along with your product, add more (0.5" - 1").

Once you’ve added your clearance, use the final measurements to select from our size options. If your measurements fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
