Unsure of which customization style to choose? Both options can offer you something different.

Laser engraving delivers a precise finish and a premium look. The color of the etching depends on the material underneath, though this usually looks light on our aluminum pens. When designing you can choose the size of your engraving area from standard, which is great for smaller designs, to full wraparound for something bigger.

Best for: Logos that are single-color or have a less intricate design.
Less suitable for: Very large designs or logos with color gradients and complicated details.

Full-color wraparound print offers a colorful and long-lasting print that can wrap fully around the pen, making it a great option for including more detail or even adding your business card design.

Best for: Logos that are colorful or complex designs.
Less suitable for: Large logos that may not be clearly understood wrapped around the pen.

Please note: We recommend a font size of at least 6 pt. Smaller font sizes may be difficult to read when printed.

Q: Which decoration style should I choose?
A: This depends on your personal choice and whether the pen is a gift or for promotional use. Generally engraving gives a more premium feel and full-color printing is best for colorful designs. Please see above for more details.

Q: Can I order just one custom pen?
A: Our promo pens are intended for use as giveaways, so they start with minimum orders of 100. However, our premium and engraved pens are available as single units.

Q: Are the pens re-fillable?
A: Mostly, yes. All our pens are re-fillable with the exception of the London and Cambridge ballpoint pens.

Q: Whereabouts on the pen will my design be?
A: Your design will be on the shaft of the pen. Currently this is a specified area that you will see when you start designing. Within this area you can place your design how you like. Make sure to keep your design within the specified area.

Q: What materials are these personalized pens made of?
A: Our engraved pens and styluses are made of metal, while our premium ballpoint and promotional pens are made of plastic. (Cambridge, Liverpool and London pens.)
