Our wood prints are made of 0.5” maple board, with a textured surface and matte finish.
We recommend using a soft cloth or a feather duster – and avoiding chemicals, cleaners or abrasive cloths.
Your image is printed directly onto real wood. The wood’s knot holes and the natural grain accept inks differently, resulting in a beautiful and natural wood-printed product. The wood grains also vary from piece to piece, which makes each print one of a kind.
The most common files we accept are JPG and PNG files. For our full list of supported files, check out this article. And for best results, use high-resolution photos for your wood print (we recommend images with at least 300 dpi).
Our wood prints’ thick maple material makes them extra sturdy. And with the proper care, your print should last for years.
To ensure they stay in excellent condition, we recommend keeping prints out of direct sunlight and avoiding any exposure to extreme humidity. Use a cotton or microfiber cloth to dust your print and refrain from applying any harsh cleaning chemicals.
Follow these 5 easy steps to hang your wood print:
- Gather your wooden print, a hammer and nail (not included)
- Make sure your print is level and mark on your wall where you’d like to hang it
- Hammer your nail into your wall marking
- Place the wire on the back of your wood print onto the nail
- Stand back and admire your art
Since there is a 0.5" border on all sides, you would subtract the border from the size of the wood print. So if you’d like an 8" x 10" wood print, your image size should be 7" x 9".
