Hello, I am writing regarding my recent order for clear plastic business cards (Order attached below). Unfortunately, the cards that were delivered do not match the approved proof or the quality expected from Vistaprint. The print quality is extremely poor and the product is not usable for professional purposes. The issues include the following: The image and text appear blurry and washed out compared to the approved proof. The colors are significantly faded and do not reflect the vibrant green and navy tones shown in the design file. The overall print looks cloudy and uneven on the clear stock, rather than crisp and sharp as expected. Most concerning is that the artwork, particularly the portrait illustration and the Mold Pros logo, appears distorted and low resolution on the final cards. This makes the cards look unprofessional and does not represent the approved design. Because these cards represent our company brand, they cannot be used in their current condition. I have attached photos showing both the approved design and the cards that were delivered so the quality difference is clear. I would like this order reprinted immediately at no cost, with rush production and shipping, as these cards are needed for business use. Please confirm the following: That a full replacement order will be printed That the replacement will be expedited That the print will match the approved proof quality I have always had good experiences with Vistaprint and trust this can be resolved quickly. I received these cards relatively quick after ordering. Using these cards for about a week tends to garner compliments regarding its uniqueness. In my opinion, the cards are quite flimsy and thin, at least with the specifications I ordered. I also noticed a few of them have poor quality printing. Pictured is the most egregious case. Others having discoloration, poor-quality company logos, or faded QR codes. I do appreciate the uniqueness and standing out, but the quality forces me to not want to order via Vista Print again.

To ensure you get a clear background, make sure to upload your design file as an image with a transparent background (PNG recommended). White or colored backgrounds in your file will be printed as is, and this will overwrite any areas you might want to be transparent.

We can’t legally print any design that looks like an ID card, credit card or bank card. But loyalty or membership cards (without detailed personal information) are fine. Also, our clear business cards are not available with any type of “mag strip” – the black stripe on the back that card readers use.

Yes, you can. We also offer plastic business cards printed on solid white or frosted plastic.

There are definitely a few things to keep in mind. First, backside printing is not available with transparent business cards. Next, any area in your design that’s white will print as white, so be sure to check the preview before approving your design. And we also suggest avoiding full-bleed images or designs, since that’ll minimize the visual effect of the material.

The cards are thicker and have rounded edges, but the height and width are the same as a typical business card.

The plastic card printing process prevents us from adding special textures or finishes to the cards. However, you can use almost any type of design – bright colours look particularly good with the high-gloss shine.

They’re made using a PVC plastic blend, available in 2 thickness options. One is more rigid like a credit card, while the other is about a third thinner.
