I ordered a lot from Vistaprint , but I was not happy with my recent order of 1 x 1 stickers - the picture was too small inside a wide border, so I cannot use them. The proof was large so I couldn’t tell.

When ordering small products like 1" x 1" stickers, it’s important to keep the actual size in mind, as the online proof can appear larger than the real-life product. Additionally, the image was placed on a template that already includes a white background, which results in a border appearing around the printed design. Since we print exactly what is submitted to us without making any changes, the product will reflect the layout as provided during the design process. Some labels were difficult to peel off their backing. This has never happened before it was disappointing because I lost quite a few labels.

Frequently asked questions

Our product labels are printed on white paper, clear plastic and gold or silver foil paper. But that doesn’t mean that you’re limited to these colour options. With our all-over printing in full colour, you have the flexibility to get creative with your custom designs as much (or as little) as you’d like!

Your stickers will be printed on sheets that are 8.5" x 11".

Yes. If you intend to use your labels on bottles or cans, we recommend picking the matte paper option, as it’s the easiest to write on. We also suggest that if you select the glossy finish for your candle labels and custom wine labels that you use a permanent marker.

Paper labels are a great, durable option for indoor use and with dry-ingredient products – if your labels won’t come in contact with liquid, you’ll be in great shape. If you intend to label products that contain (or are exposed to) oil, lubricants or cold temperatures, we recommend our clear plastic option – it's both oil- and water-resistant.

You can order a single sheet of custom labels for bottles to try them out before committing to a higher quantity.
